W601 is a micro-computer based switch controller system, which has sectionalizer functionality and is able to be connected to pole mounted load break switches in the medium voltage electricity network.
Using the installed sensors in the switch, this unit is able to measure voltage and current parameters, calculate electrical parameters and also supports different functions such as fault detection and automatic sectionalizer.
W601 contains an extra system for power supply backup in the occurrence of power outage for operating the switch, system, modem and extra devices. W106 also has a panel for the device settings, parameters and status display, keyboard and communication module.
